György Kovásznai's oeuvre, an achievement setting the ground for post-modern art in Hungary, is to be shown for the first time.

The lonely artist who was hindered from exhibiting, other times he himself held aloof, who did not join any art movements worked with freedom that mostly evoked a sense of distance in those times. However, these days it is just the opposite: the curious posterity is able and willing to connect with György Kovásznai’s art exactly for the above mentioned reasons.

At the exhibition organized by the Kovásznia Research Studio the visitors will see paintings, wall paintings by Kovásznia, an unparalleled selection of the highest quality of Hungarian 20th-century art.
