The word "cserge" is well known for many. The term for it used in Gyergyóremete is wool sheet. It makes the room friendly by its warmth and beauty.
The sheets shown at the exhibition, with a few exception, were made in the past three years by women of Gyergyóremete after the design of the fibre artists Mari Nagy and István Vidák. Their new works are return to the formerly used method of painting wool sheets by plants.
