The Memorial Exhibition of the painter István Tóvári Tóth from Győr is shown at the Cziráki Room. The material of the showing was selected from the Municipal Museum of Art and the fine art collection of the Xántus János Museum.

The paintings are from the beginning of the career of the painter to the 1990's. Tóvári Tóth István was the painter of Hungarian landscapes, the Rábaköz, the Kisalföld. He applied powerful colouring and dynamic touch. He painted landscapes, interiors, still-lives, streets and portraits, too. Tóvári Tóth István’s art was determined by realist language. He was still active at eighty. He owned a vivid spirit, was a humanist painter.
