The graphic artist and painter Sánta László was born on 15 September 1933 in Poroszló. He attended the Collage of Fine Arts from 1952 to 1958 where his master was Hincz Gyula. After graduation, he began to work as a teacher at the Training Collage of Nyíregyháza and later in Budapest.

He wrote a book with Bálványos Huba entitled "Visual Learning - Visual Communication". From 1995, he participated at the work of the colony of artists of Cered, in Nógrád County and also shows his artworks at the yearly organized showing of the Nógrád Historic Museum.
This time, he shows his paintings at his one-man exhibition, from early to new works. His new paintings are closely related to paraphrase of classic artworks national and international artists, eg Manet: "Morning in the Open Air", Velazquez: "Margarita Lady", Szinyei Merse Pál: "Woman in Purple".
Almost all the works shown now can be characterized by grand surfaces, shiny colours and expressive gestures.
