The countryside of Hungary only began to reach the modern level of hygiene, cleaning and washing in 1960. The exhibition of the costume of hygiene of the second half of the 20th century presents the practice of peasantry to the highest developed state of hygiene, bathrooms and cosmetic products.
Poster
The showing includes the sanitary and equipment of bathrooms in the early times, as well as towels, washing machines and other machines. We also show beauty and cosmetic products either in photos or in their real form. Until the end of the 20th century, the peasantry bought the varied cosmetic and hygiene products, though they never really used them. This mentality is also demonstrated in the units of the exhibition.

We show tools of school demonstration, adds of products printed and in film. The visitors may also participate at an interactive experience by touching and smelling the different products and the so-called clean clothes of varied periods.
