The artist born in Debrecen has lived in Paris since 1969. He represents several modern, technical novelties of art. He appears with dualistic pictures at his exhibitions. This style can be traceable in his art ever since 1973.

He writes the following of dualism: 'In a dualistic work, forms keep their individual characteristics, since they differ from one another and are independent, their origins cannot be traced back to unconnected principles. However, to the outside world they show unity and demonstrate power'. In his pictures, figurative and non-figurative elements form harmonic compositions that, with their darker background and light colors, mediate novel information.
Joseph Kadar is a versatile, colorful individual. He is a private collector, founder of many private museums, editor and publisher of international magazines.
