We show three aluminium dinner-cans which were made in Tiszafüred in the 1970’s. That time a plant of Budapest Aluminiumárugyár was settled in Tiszafüred and this was the „conquest of industry” in the settlement.
There are two-piece and four-piece dinner-cans in the show-case. The diameter of the smaller can is 12 cm and the diameter of the bigger dishes is 14 cm.
One of the two piece dinner-cans was very famous as it was the first product of the Tiszafüred plant. It was on the 18th of August, in 1970, when the first „mini” dinner-can left the conveyor belt. The insciprion of the dish, printed in the side of the dinner-can „1970 VIII 18 Tiszafüred”.
