Penal Institutes in the fifties, the world of prisons and internment are evoked by the brand new exhibition at the Memorial Point. The exhibition entitled Rákosi Era Prisons presents prison conditions by way of a number of over a number of Molinos and installations.

That decade was the darkest in the 20th century, which is still remembered together with the name of Mátyás Rákosi. Then the country's prisons as well as the internment and forced labour camps were packed with political prisoners, who were treated by the eternal "Do not just keep it, hate it!". With some exaggeration, one could say, that Rákosi changed the whole country into a prison .
