The third floor exhibition hall of MODEM presents the chamber exhibition with fifty ink drawings by the internationally renown dancer and choreographer Josef Nadj. In addition to the world-famous dancer's world of theatre that he has built for nearly two decades this time the visitors will find a more isolated, a more lonely world. After the shows at night, he obsessed, with the rigour of miniaturists, kept drawing his heroes in isolated cells, in different niches, which can be interpreted as József Nagy's symbols for theatre.
Nagy founded the now world -famous Theatre of sign in Paris in 1986. The performances are some what on the boundary of dance and theatre. However, choreographies are more remembered as Pina Bausch's dance theatre. In 2001 he was awarded the most prestigious theatre award, the Taormina Award of the European Association of Theatres of Europe. From 2012, he manages the House of Contemporary.
