Probably the most well-known figures of ceramics on contemporary art scene in Mezőtúr are to display together this summer at the Municipal Museum.

Lajos Búsi and István Gonda are both Masters of Folk Art, Fathers of Hungarian Pottery Art. Both of them can be characterised by an exceptional sense of form and proportion, professional skill at the turntable, and also traditional use of ornaments on their potteries.

The exhibition presenting their career so far is an outstanding event of Hungarian folk art.
