Géza Szabó who became a goldsmith in 1930 (1895 - 1968) laid down the basis of the mint. He made cast, embossed coins, plaques and stamps. In 1984, his son, Géza Szabó, restarted coin making on old machines and equipments. The coins he makes reached every part of the country. Besides the continuous developments, handmade sketching is still determinant. Thus, the coins made by him are unique products.
