The sunlight studio in which Kováts István Sr, later Jr, as well as Kováts Árpád and his wife photographed the visitors was built in Székelyudvarhely at 21 Kossuth Street. The first section of the exhibition revives the milieu of the 'light scribe place' of the small town where the visitors can feel the unique atmosphere of the place.
