The main focal point of the exhibition is the fine art section titled 'Italian Landscape with Hungarian Brush'. The exhibition organized by the Hungarian National Gallery introduces those works of Miklós Barabás, István Csók, Aurél Bernáth, Károly Markó Sr., Pál Szinyei Merse, János Vaszary, Lajos Gulácsy, Tivadar Csontváry that bring the Italian land home to Hungary.

The exhibition is made more valuable by the paintings of István Szőnyi provided by his daughter and the aquarelles of Mátyás Triznya, the man after whom the Triznya inn was named. The presence of the Pál Molnár C. Foundation represent the Roman School. The attendance of the contemporary artists László Szotyory and Gyula Gulyás underpin centuries of relationship of the Hungarian and Italian artists.

The selection of Roberto Ruspanti makes it possible for the visitors to discover the poetry of Sándor Petőfi, Endre Ady, Mihály Babits, Lőrinc Szabó, Dezső Kosztolányi, István Vas, Nemes Ágnes Nagy, Győző Csorba, and Sándor Weöres both in Italian and Hungarian. Following the initiation of Imre Madarász, 15 publishing companies brought along works representing the newest literary translations published in Hungary. The history of literature counsels about the values of the past as well as the presence.

It is worth to spend some time at the objects that symbolise the spiritual bridge created by Dante and Babits. It is also remarkable to see how the Italian pictures changed the attitude of the writers Sándor Márai and Salerno.
