The exhibition entitled 'Fragile Beauty' presents the most beautiful pieces from the porcelain doll collection of the Kaposvár born artist Mrs. Nyers, Veronika Meláth.

Mrs. Nyers Veronika Meláth began her career as a doll owner she went on becoming a collector. Wherever she visited, she bought herself a nice doll. The porcelain doll era began two decades ago, when she saw a German peasant dressed porcelain girl and boy in a shop window. They were the bases for her collection of more than 650 dolls. For some time, she is also involved in making porcelain dolls. She learned the secrets from a doll-maker in Budapest to become one of the decreasing number of professionals. And that she has the mastery to do so, it proven by the second prize she won at the International Doll Fair and National Doll Making Competition in Győr in 2008.
