The selection is made up of costume material from the Folk Art Collection warehouse that have not yet been shown before. The exhibition presents 14 different complete , authentic folk costumes and their descriptions from various geographical regions in Hungary.

The photo highlights a portion of clothing from Boldog. The villages on the banks of Galga in general can be characterised by 'rustic color choice' finding beauty in opposite of vivid colors. They said "the cloths are beautiful when they are full of colour.

In connection with the temporary exhibition 'Traditional Peasant Costumes' museum pedagogy activities can be requested for preschoolers , schoolchildren, students of higher grades and high school students. The activities are managed by the ethnographer Gabriella Bognar and Edit High- will oversee the activities.
