A taste of the exhibition
The bed in the clean room, the bridal chest from 1867, the cupboards from 1872, a mirror, a crib, table and chairs and figures dressed in folk clothing are shown. In the 'choked' kitchen a drawer, a mirror, and the celebration clothing of a girl can be seen.

The kitchen with the chimney a stove, pottery and iron dishes, and the figure of an old man in an everyday clothing is shown. In the chamber which is also a loft staircase, a chest for flour, tools to proceed hemp as well as other tools can be seen.

Sárköz is one of the most important centers of tradition preserving in Hungary. The people were rich so the traditional cloth was rich too. It made a lot of possibility to use colorful textile, laces, and embroidery. In the clothing of Báta it shows that the people of the village were of Catholic religion.

The textile collection has a very rich material. Just like the other settlements of Sárköz the coif made with doodad was made here. At wintertime almost in all houses weaving was done.

Among the ornaments of the settlements of Sárköz, the so called "pöndőkötés" was only known in Báta. It was a lace sewn with needle.

Among the working tools the carved wine press made in 1851 and the wine tread er tub carved of a tree trunk are important.
