Attic history: it is not only the title of a graphic work but also the approach that Péreli represents. Our personal and universal history, in addition to our traditions inspired her, made her ponder and made her work. An old photo or a person on a postcard, may it be a soldier, a peasant woman, a town dweller or a famous actress, a hundred-year-old peasant house or a figure of history: These did not simply mean: model for the artist.
