László Molnár (Gyöngyöspata, 1st October, 1941 - ) Self-taught, his master was Sándor Molnár in Budapest. Since 1962 he joins the work of the Circle in Zugló.
Light Crystal
In the seventies his painting turned on reconciliation of the figurative and non-figurative approach. Doesn't accept the opposition of these forming. He is accepting the material-associative tendency of the abstract elements, or rather the abstract colour- and formrelations of the shapes and objects in his works. Occurrence of pervading is the key to his art: we can define still-lifes as landscapes, figurative compositions as landscapes (and vice versa). His paintings inspired by the lire of Pilinszky and the dramatic emphasis of Mednyánszky. His theme is often an episode of the passion.
