The Mohács Fine- and Applied Art Salon is held the eighth time in 2008 presenting artworks by artists living or from the region . During the eight salons earlier, 239 amateur artists showed 492 artworks. Every time, 10-10 artists were nominated for awards and nine of them received prizes. All nine artists were offered an opportunity for a showing in the past eleven years.
