October 4.-th 1957: The USSR turned to its orbit the man-made moon Sputnik-1 which was the first artifical planet. At that time started series of scientific discoveries. From October 27.-th you can see a temporary exhibition "50 years of the epoch of space".
It's a fantastic exhibition for visitors interested in theme of the space researches. The exhibition contains lot of original objects, beautiful models and color photos. The Hungarian aspects are a separated area in the exhibition. This exhibition has got interactive programs too. There are a computer programme on the Moon - travelling, landing with the space aircraft. You can see touch screen displaying films and photos of this branch of the science.
Must be very interesting a copy of the space capsule used by the Hungarian astronaut Bertalan Farkas. It's a "mock-up" and the visitors can see it inside and they can sit there, they can ask for a photo dressed in a copy of a Sokol scafander.
You can see and hear "voice - gate". There is the loud noise of a space aircraft during the start.
