Horváth László (fine artist, musician, the student of MKE) was paralyzed from stomach down without antecedent in April 2005. Ever since then, his life is spent in a wheelchair.
Laci
'Stand Up Laci!' is the title of a program initiated by artists and society that tries to raise the amount necessary for his treatment. We organized the first aid concert for Laci in July 2006 in Gödöllő where we collected over one and a half million forints. This helped him to participate in a treatment.

In October 2006, Laci received his first treatment of stem cell implantation. According to doctors, he would have to go to China two more times which will cost about 8-10 million forints.

The Milarepa Verzió Foundation organizes further events to collect the necessary amount. However, the programs itself will not raise enough but will give publicity to the case.

The story of Laci, his treatment and the possible ways to donate can be learned about on the homepage http://keljfellaci.popivan.com.
