The excellent exhibition praises the work of the private collector Mrs. Mészáros Bagoly Magdolna.

'The aim of the display is to make tradition, show the values of folk art and culture, as well as recall the atmosphere of the old times' said the collector in an interview. She would like to show the cloths and objects of simple Swabian families.

The material was partly collected from the family of Mrs. Mészáros Bagoly Magdolna and homes and Biatorbágy. In the meantime, she also learned about the tricks of the old times. She put down short notes of her flingings, such as the hardening of the underskirts.
'Starch may be retrieved from potato. Dipping the underskirt into it and leaving it there for 2-3 days in a cold place the skirt hardens. It was ironed and folded while still damp. All kinds of silverware were put among the folding so that they did break down. Then the skirt was left to dry for 2-3 days again. Eventually it was rolled up like a pancake. I myself also use this ancient technique.'

The visitors may also learn of the traditional celebration of Eastern, Pentecost and harvest, along with the process of bread baking.

Besides showing the objects, tradition of clothing of the German population of Torbágy in details a photo collection also recalls the everydays of the Swabians of the town.
