The world famous lace of Halas began its all-conquering journey in 1902. The international exhibition organized to honor it will be opened on 3, May 2002 at 17 00 in the Lace House.

We would like to display laces from Halas that the audience has never seen before. We are waiting for the respond of those who own old laces that are not manufactured anymore as well as those who own documents in connection with the lace of Halas.
Faithful to our traditions, we also organize an international showing of the technique by which lace is made as well as a lace fair in the garden of the Lace House. The audience may learn about the methods of lace making and talk about it with the lace makers.
The Halas Lace Foundation invites everyone to celebrate our cultural value together at the 100th anniversary of the 'Queen of Laces'.
