At the end of the 19th century advertisements and commercial packaging was born along with quantity production. Different materials were used to make boxes. The most typical of those were the tin, thin board, and paper. The material was chosen according to the characteristics of the product to be packed in order to save it from breaking and ensure its quality. Sometimes the luxurious and ordinary packaging was made of the same material.
