Inmates at Prison Csillag present some of their works of art in Fekete House. The material consists of a number of graphics, graphics, pictures of thread, ceramics that were made inside the prison. None of the inmates have prior education on art, but educated themselves to draw and paint.

They do not spend their time together in ’study groups’, but in cellars. Thus, the organizers of the exhibition decided to have a cellar set up in the exhibition room. The visitors will find out on the puritan, stimuli free environment the inmates live in and where the works were made in.

At present 1650 inmates spend their time in the Penitentiary of Szeged. Creative work is becoming increasingly popular among inmates. Now, over 200 of them are regularly involved in arts. In addition to arts and crafts, the inmates are learning to pay attention to education and the sense of work.
