Orchids are characterized by their six petals but they can have any colour distinguished by human eyes. It can occur from white to black in any mixture of red, yellow, green and blue. The six petals can show various colours even in one bloom, the orchid is partly favoured due to this feature. The other reason is the exoticism that these rare plants of the tropics can be welcomed and admired in our flats.
