I worked as a teacher in a collage in Budapest for 27 years. I also taught in a primary school and a training collage. I have taught at the Faculty o Letters for ELTE for 12 years now. During these years I was invited to give lectures at the Film and Media Department for the Sapienta University. I spent there three years. I retired in 2006. That same year I was accepted by the Hungarian Academy of Arts. My wife is also a teacher; we have three children, all grown up, and three grandchildren.

I began taking photos in 1965. My photos and writings have been published in various magazines in the past 35 years. I held my first two exhibitions wile I still at university. Since then I held nearly two-hundred exhibitions. I have published fifty books (albums) so far.

I wrote the script for several TV shows about Hungarian cultural history and the middle ages. Also gave my photos to 40-50 books. My writings have been published in the topics of Hungarian literature, modern Hungarian art, photo aesthetics, Middle Ages in Hungary, folk poetry and music for thirty years. A series I hosted was aired on radio for three years entitled Say many good things about Hungarians (Hungarian history in songs). The last show was aired five years. A series with songs based on Petőfi poems is now aired the time my show used to be. The year before last year it was about poems by Czuczor Gergely that served as bases for several folk poems.

A series about cultural history Atlantis Sunk I wrote was published in 'Magyar Nemzet' for five years. Then the series continued under different titles: The Past is Dreaming and the In New Man.
