The bishop's palace in Sümeg is an outstanding building in Upper Balaton. It was first mentioned in a document from 1675. It was commissioned by the bishop of Veszprém, Sennyei lstván. The forerunner of the present Baroque building was built by the bishop Padányi Bíró Márton, one of the, important public figures of the 18th century. continue
