The paletta is for the artist as the piano keyboard for the pianist... but rare are those who think of the palette as an art work in itself , with its firework of colors, while being also the "instrument" for the art work to be born. Some artists use a wooden desk, some use plastic desks, some use little glasses, this is what is presented in this exhibition which reunites.
A taste of the exhibition
French, German and Hungarian painters, some of the early 20th century, some of the 21st century. The palettas are unintentional "abstract" artworks, full of poetry and creative strength. They are instructive instruments which help also to understand the emerging of the "will of colors" in the painting process, when compared to the wilfully realized and achieved artwork. They are questionning.

Among the artists: Istók Bernadet, Dietz Edzard (1893-1963), Suzanne Eisendieck (1906-1998), Bastien Gaisne, Kesselyák Rita, Pascale LeHalle, Camelia de Montety, Mucius, Palkó Tibor, Podmaniczky, Szentes Ottokár
