The exhibition opening in the Museum of Fine Arts on 8th August presents the last golden age of Pharaonic Egypt. The exhibition entitled Renaissance in Pharaonic Egypt focuses on one particular period of the empire along the Nile while the 150 exhibited artefacts provide visitors with a captivating overview of the culture of ancient Egypt spanning thousands of years. The exhibition which forms part of the Renaissance Year series of programmes will be open to visitors until 9th November. Its material comes from the British Museum, the Louvre in Paris as well as collections from museums in Vienna, Florence, Rome and Zagreb.
