János Szigeti Szabó has turned 60 this year. Since his early ages of a child, he's been drawing, painting and sculpting. He's known as an artist of innovation; searching his own vision. He hasn't had real masters - in the proper sense of the word; self-educated, he has developed his world of arts. He has read up both the oeuvre and life of his predecessors. Among his contemporaries, Endre Szász, László Gyémánt, Tamás Péli, István Szentandrássy impressed his work.

He has read a lot; his deep education has helped, and still helps his work. He has had both private and shared art exhibitions in the following towns and countries: Mohács, Pécs, Dunaújváros, Szombathely, Budapest, Graz, Beli Manastir, Austria, Croatia. In the last art exhibition, the 7th Saloon of Mohács, he was given a prize by the public. The present art exhibition is both attached by that saloon, as an anniversary exhibition. In that exhibition, surrealist oil paintings on canvas, graphics are exposed, some space effect works are also shown.
