The newest temporary exhibition of the Hungarian Geology Museum presents the life-work of the geologist Lóczy Lajos jr. (1891-1980) via documents as well as personal articles on the 25th anniversary of the death of the scientist. The world famous Asia researcher followed the footsteps of his father Lóczy Lajos sr. (1849-1920). Lóczy his studied in Zurich. At the time of WWI, he was the member of the MTA 1917-18 expedition to West Serbia to work on her geologic map. Later he did fieldwork in Sumatra, Celebes, Ecuador, Poland and Yugoslavia.
