The palpable medal exhibition was created in connection with a novel initiative by the Móra Ferenc Museum in Szeged, which is on show now. The exhibition features nearly a hundred works and anybody can touch the coins, indeed! The exhibition was designed to expressly let visitors closer the coins using tactile objects.
The exhibition presents works by seventeen important contemporary medalists the works of which all bear excitement from the point of view of tactility. The coins were given a specific security tape; security gates also guard them, guaranteeing their safety. With the technological solution throughout the venue of the exhibition visitors are free to roam with the medal in their hand, they can sit down, and compare different items: they may get to know them.
