We are in the last year of WWII, it is 1945. The German and Soviet forces engaged in cutthroat fight in West Hungary, the Lake Balaton region.
The first goal is to free Budapest, then, after the capital's fall, it is to maintain oil fields of Zala, while for the Soviet army the task was to take hold of it.
The "Balaton battle" entered into the military history by the grandiose military projects, risky offensives series, which in addition to tank battles air combats characterised. American, British and Soviet air forces triumphed over the German and Hungarian Air Forces.
Balaton as military grave commemorate to this day this battle: tanks and aircraft wrecks are buried deep in the water.
