The exhibition featuring works of art by Imre Schrammel, the Kossuth Prize awarded ceramics artist, the Artist of the Nation is opening on occasion of the works' relocation in Szombathely.

Imre Schrammel was born in Szombathely and so he has always been strongly tied to the city. He decided long time ago that he would have an exhibition showing his works in Szombathely continuously. As the first step of the future permanent exhibition, 100 works will be deposited at the Art Gallery of Szombathely. These represent an important artistic era of Imre Schrammel.

Within the exhibition, special attention is put to Herend porcelain sculptures and unique works of testifying on the experimentation mood of the artist.
