The exhibiting folk artists about themselves: Mrs. Nagy Zsóka Török
I was fascinated by the malleability of clay and plastic even in my childhood. Devise and pass the inspiration over to my hands is a pretty good feeling. A new object is created; I can create for myself and for the sake of others. It emits peace, inner peace, or even beautifies the environment.
My intention is to process the rich tradition of Tiszafüred, by my own taste. I believe that traditional culture, therefore pottery art is of great importance and may be in the future, because a group of people's spirituality, their values becomes clear by them. I am eager to create traditional decorative and utility ceramics, honouring "pure sources", which people are happy to take home. My works have been juried by NIT, I have received a number of prizes in various countries.
My workshop is open for everyone to drop by who is interested in what pottery art is like, or want to buy any of my products.
Mihály Andrási
I have been involved in making gingerbread ever since 1988 , but my attraction to wood stems from my childhood, which my mother's father fed me. Since 1996 mu involvement in carving is more intensive. At the beginning I made gingerbread forms. Later on, I carved furniture, decorative items and Kunság gates. I have had my items juried. In 2003 I was honoured with the title folk applied artist
My awards:
2008 Király Award
2009 Pro Culture Hungarika foundation Special Prize
2011 János Illéssy Tradition Preserving Prize”
