The painter Győző Byhon was born in Nyíregyháza in 1959. He graduated from the Training Collage of Nyíregyháza in 1983, his mentor was András Berecz. In the period 1983-1986 he studied at the College of Fine Arts under the direction of Károly Klimó. In 1988 he continued his studied in Vienna at the Akademie für Andgewandte Kunston.

His interest turned to landscape painting around the turn of the millennium, ever since then he has painted from bird's eye view. His works reveal an inner landscape. His works are held by private collections in Hungary and abroad.
