In pictures representing Ebru art follow the patterns of traditional Turkish art.  Works by Ahmet Sacit Açıkgözoğluhis students reveal painted tiles, carpets, ceramics in ancient patterns, dazzling colours and shapes .

Master Ebru:

Ahmet Sacit Açıkgözoğlu began calligraphy in 1995, and it was in 1998 when he got involved Ebru in painting. Currently, he is a professor for the department of art history at Marmara University and also teaches at the traditional Turkish arts faculty at the Mimar Sinan University.

He has held several classical Ebru themed exhibitions in Turkey, England and also in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
