Gizi Bajor 1914. május 31-én received her degree at the Academy of Theater on 31 May 1914 and was hired by the National Theatre. After the First World War broke out, her brother and fiancé had to join the army. His father went bankrupt and his café house was auctioned. In this desperate situation, she was the only hope of the family, she had to do have a career at all costs.
