In 2005 a rich collection of Hungarian young pioneer badges and other relicts was given to our museum by a former local pioneer leader. In our exhibition we show more than 50 pin badges of this collection. The majority of the badges was belonged to the former owner and the minority of the collection was given to her as a souvenir. Most of these badges are metal pin badges made of bronze, copper or aluminium. We can see some copies of the Pioners’ Hard Work Award, the medals for Young Pioneer Of Hungarian People’s Republic.

The other part of the badges is made of plastic or shined metal. In the case of plastic ones the surface of badges is decorated by printed matrices. These badges are mostly round-shaped and are relating to the World Federation of Democratic Youth or Soviet-Estonia. There are some badges related to the solidarity of Vietnam (during Vietnam War).
