Two artist show in the framework of the exhibition organized by the Szentendre Roma minority Self-government.
What is this huge aviary doing here? The essence of works of art is that they raise questions and create situations. The mobile sculpture by Josef Bernhardt (1960) of Austria gives us the opportunity to see the world from a birds-eye view. Those who dare to enter the installation will understand what is going on. What do I experience when I peek from the inside out and let that position impress me? How can the world be observed from this point of view?
Entering the bird house at first sounds absurd "- says the artist," but perhaps by positioning ourselves into another identity we may look over established thought patterns, and have more sympathy towards other forms of life, including feathered friends, with whom we share this town, this planet.
