The MKVM has shown for years at the Design Week with the exhibition series SOC DECO that directs attention to various matters by object culture in the 60-70-80s. This year, the focus will be on glass. In accordance with tradition it is not only outstanding pieces of high art that is items that reflect the provincialism. These, all of them developed our visual culture for decades, influencing the trend for several generations.

We seek precision with this new art history concept that refers to art deco traditions and its socialised aspect when it calls the recent past all over again retro. SOC DECO.
