An exhibition commemorates the Olympic champion Ferenc Csík, who was born a century ago. Ferenc Csík was born in Kaposvár, but spent his youth in Keszthely, and first competed at a swimming event in the town. His career that began at the lake culminated in a gold medal at the 1936 Berlin Olympics for 100-meter freestyle swimming. The young man who chose medical profession aged 31 died in World War II.
