Visitors of our police history exhibition are guided through the development of the police in the halls of the museum furnished with over 1,000 relics, among them uniforms, weapons and firearms, documents, statuettes, decorations and documents dating from between 1848 and the present day.

The part of the exhibition presenting the history of the Rural Police (one-time Hungarian Gendarmerie) also awaits visitors with a rich collection of exhibits. Part of these exhibits was donated by collectors in the United States. The majority of the sabers, swords and machine guns exhibited in the museum are here on loan from the War History Museum.
