The exhibition presenting the old school of Bereg and the education in it is shown in the mansion of the Eötvös family built in 1720.
The visitors may learn about the furnishing of the little village schools, the long school benches, the cloths and tools of the children, the equipments used to teach writing and reading, the ABC, the different publication of the 'Threefold Little Mirror' of which the children learned geography and history.
The practical education of boys and girls was different. The boys learned about the basis of farming while the girls learned housekeeping, sewing and embroidery.
