The exhibition in the Móra Ferenc Museum deals with Bronze Age culture through rare finds from Füzesabony. The material consists of a golden headdress on the head reconstruction of a female priest, a hair ringlet, a golden forehead disk and spirals.
Besides pottery art and military items, we also show treasures discovered in Tiszaladány: intact pot axes, wristlets and arm roles. These were probably buried with religiously or because of an attack on them.
Religion of the Bronze Age is demonstrated by sacred items: various objects of ritual initiations, amulets and a bird-shaped pot, too. In addition, we also show the reconstruction of a chief’s grave.
In addition to finds from Hungary, we show the Bronze- Slavic Age fortress of Trzcinica. In the Polish archaeological park named The Troy of the Carpathians a restored four-thousand old fortress is to be seen: part of it was rebuilt in its original state. Balustrades, ramparts of the hill forth, houses dug into the ground and some on the ground remind the visitors of the past times.
The exhibition in the Móra Ferenc Museum presents various posters, too, to inform the visitors on this special open-air museum.
