Balázs Balázs artist, teacher, sculptor. His first sculpture exposition was organized in Veszprém County. He is member of the League of Art teachers in Hungary, and he is regular participant at colonies of artists. In 1968, he went to live in Baranya County, and where he was managing a fused elementary school with his wife, during 10 years. From 1977 to 1980, he was art director at the Pottery Workshop of Kishajmás. From 1981 to 1984, he worked as a potter.

In 1984, he went to Italy for a two year time study-tour in sculpture. After coming home, he worked as a teacher in Himesháza. He had been director of the League of Artist in Mohács. He launched an open art school crowned with success. He has had 17individual exhibitions and 21 grouped exhibitions; the latter ones were organised with his son, a graphic artist. In 1995, he was elected mayor of Erdősmárok village. From 1997 till his age of retirement, he has worked as director of Himesháza Elementary School. As a pensioner, he has been wrapped up in sculpture. He applied to the “KM 8” colony of artists, and he launched a 5 year program in sculpture. Since 1996, he has been member of the colony of sculptors in Pécsvárad. He regularly participates at the Art Saloon of Mohács, and in 2006, he won the special prize of the jury. Every other year, he has had a grouped exhibition with his son, the graphic artist Kolos. Their exhibitions have always been crowned with success, organised in Mohács, Szűr, Komló, Pécs. His son, Kolos has been living and working for years in London. Since 1996, Balázs Balázs meets every year 7 sculptors of his friends at the colony of artists organised in Kozármisleny and Pécsvárad. He is working on a monument made to the honour of Rasdorf village - a former border village - on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the opening of the border.

He has many sculptures exposed in public spaces in more than 10 settlements.

Kolos Balázs Balázs was born in 1974 in Mohács. Drawing is a hobby - and not a duty to him. While he is working, he is not drawing things; on the contrary, he is putting down snapshots of feelings and impressions.

At the present exhibition, black and white compositions have been replaced by coloured paintings. The odd thing about it is that these paintings haven't been made by conventional methods (graphite, pen, paper), but on an iphone display . And that's where they were transferred on canvas.

Besides individual exhibitions, he has had grouped exhibitions with his father. Following this exhibition of Mohács, they will have a collective exhibition.

His paintings are reflections of young blood and a grotesque style. Whether it's a traditionally made or a digital work, the individual style/his personal touch can be found in it. He is hoping that visitors will find his "touch" and will take a liking to it.
