Modern excavation works began in the Szőnyi District in Komárom in 1992, in he old Roman Brigetio (that used to be made up of a military camp, town and cemetery). The works are performed by the Klapka György Museum of Komárom, overseen by László Borhy and Emese Számadó.
The exhibition presents reviews of the excavation works and also some of the restored material.
The most interesting item on display is the barrel that was discovered in a well that used to be in the town of Brigetio. The barrel was discovered in 2007 and was restored by the County Museum. The material on display also consists of glasses, nets and a rope.
