Gábor Jásper was born in Mohács on 18 November 1963. He developed his talent in art classes led by István Kedves. Later on he switched to painting.
A taste of the exhibition
Art has always been important feature in Gábor Jásper's life but he never attended art school, instead he practiced by himself. At the beginning he did reproductions and developed his own characteristic style. At first his touch was harsh but this got finer with time. Gábor Jásper experimented with a number of painting styles but he has always been interested in warm autumn landscapes. His pictures have always been well elaborated which makes them very popular among the audience.

Gábor Jásper's first solo show was organized by the Junior Art Fund. He was awarded with the Audience’s Prize at the Fine- and Applied Art Salon in Mohács in 2008. Several of his pictures are in private collections both in Hungary and abroad.
