The triptych entitled Babel World by András Szabó is shown in connection with the relic exhibition at the Móra Ferenc Museum. There are many among the paintings that have never been shown before.

Babel World then travels on to Budapest and returns to Szegd afterwards. Earlier, it was shown at the Dome and the Somogy Library. András Szabó worked on the oil paintings on wallboard for over 11 years. It is not by accident since we are talking about large artworks: the triptych is 340x150 cm when open and 170x150 cm when closed.

The left wing is called "Eden". It depicts a land by the water with sprawling plants and high mountains in the background. Two giant trees rule the picture in the axis symbolising good and bad knowledge. In the foreground, the first people appear, Adam and his woman, Eve. Noah's ark is in the background.

The tablet in the middle is the Babel World itself. The right section is ruled by the demons. Well-known buildings are piled up into a cone-like shape that looks like a "castle of nature from far". 96 buildings can be discerned in the cone. The development of technology is easy to see when we look at the pyramids with the Zeppelin, the Titanic, Concord or the Challenger Spaceship right next to it.

The right wing is the Valley of Armageddon. When the triptych is closed, it depicts the redeeming God.

Beside the Babel World, 5 other paintings by András Szabó are on display, among them the "Last Supper".
